Discovering that your best friend and sibling are dating can be quite a jarring experience. That's what one brother is going through right now. Right after seeing the photos, he tried to call his friend to no avail. When he came home, he was greeted by his best friend, sister, and parents all waiting to break the news together. Instead of being included from the start, he was totally blindsided. I understand wanting to keep this sort of thing under wraps for a few months at most, but two years is excessive. When my fiance's little sister started dating one of his friends, they didn't announce it until they were “serious” after a couple of weeks. Sure, it was weird at first, but they all got used to the new dynamics.
